From the woman’s perspective…

Award winning screenwriter Christine Pfeiffer Stocke (her Mom makes her say that when introducing herself) studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Not one to take herself so seriously she went on to study improv, comedy and skit writing at The Groundlings School for Theater and Comedy located as well in New York City.

After a brief stint doing audience warm up for Nickelodeon she and her partner Dan Stocke soon found themselves writing skits for a pilot that went unproduced. Having realized that writing was what they enjoyed, Christine & Dan started writing features together.

Scripts of note:

Other fun stuff

Christine is also the co-creator and co-writer of the live theater show Dance TV (DTV). Inspired by the fictional dance show from 80’s classic film “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”, Dance TV takes you on stage and behind the scenes of the number one show in the country, Dance TV, as it “films” its latest episode. In addition to the script, all the music for Dance TV is original and is written by Christine’s DTV creative partner Andy Frye. In October of 2019  Dance TV premiered on stage at The Catalyst Content Festival to a standing room only crowd. In January of 2020  the show moved to Minneapolis and debuted to a sold out crowd. After the show sold out again in February Dance TV was offered a monthly residency. Sadly the production was shut down due to Covid. Thanks 2020! Not one to let a good thing die,  Andy and Christine are currently reworking Dance TV to shift from live theater to streaming platforms thereby reaching the bigger and broader audience it deserves. Dance TV also recently found a fiscal sponsor in Film North, so if you want to donate to this production (and you should), what’s stopping you?

Currently Christine is working on her book and accompanying podcast The Mistress Reality Checklist.
