Dan Stocke studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City and, after the seriousness of it all, lightened things up by heading over to The Groundlings School of Theater and Comedy where being funny was more appreciated. He and his writing partner (and, full disclosure, eventual wife), Christine Pfeiffer Stocke, found themselves writing skits for an unproduced pilot at Nickelodeon. Soon thereafter they started writing features.

Dan is the producer of the award winning podcast, Take It With You, an hour-long, originally scripted, live radio theatre podcast complete with versatile voice actors (think The Simpsons), all original music (think South Park), and old-school foley sound effects (think Monty Python coconut horses) performed in front of a studio audience in Duluth, Minnesota. It’s like the Golden Age of Radio but without the “age” or the “radio.” It’s just gold. You should probably listen to it… I’m just saying.
Dan is currently working on his podcast Do You Sleep Naked.
He is also published a “children’s book for adults” entitled Al Luvis Wakes Up (It will make perfect sense when you see it).
Dan is also uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person, so is glad this is over 🙂
